I was expecting this to be stepsister porn, and it turned out to be worse than that. It’s like stepsister porn but just the plot parts. They make some attempt at titillation, like the obligatory scene with the sister coming out the bath in just a towel, but then they pull back before anything actually happens. On the other hand, any effort to explore the actual awkwardness of the situation gets undermined by some terrible writing that makes me believe the author never had a sister, a stepsister, or any human interaction at all.

The end result is something that tries to deliver both romantic comedy and fan service, and it is very bad at both. Unless you’re really hard up to see “almost” naked anime girls or you really enjoy unnatural dialogue that make you hate the characters, there’s not much to recommend here.
