The First Looks have finally ended and we are finally fully staffed, so let’s get back in to the Roundup! Looks like we’ve got another batch of easy going comedies this season with just a touch of sadness and dash of violence to keep things interesting. What shows could I possibly be referring to? You’ll just have to read on and find out.
Windermere is on the verge of conquering the galaxy, but more importantly IT’S FREYJA’S BIRTHDAY!!!
With their funding from Ragna cut off, a creaky old colony ship to fix, and a city full of nervous civilians, Chaos and the Delta squad find themselves with a lot of problems to solve. Back on Windmere, Heinz is crowned the new king while Lloyd (Roid?) reveals his plan for GALACTIC DOMINATION.
In this bonus episode, we get a look at what Hazuki, Natsuki, and the other cut band members were up to as they helped prepare for the big competition. Between confessing to Tsukamoto and not being able to compete, Hazuki in particular has a lot of rejection to overcome.
A shoulder injury has sidelined Haruki from competitive judo, leaving him feeling a bit lost. When his buddy suggests starting up a male cheerleading team he’s reluctant to join, but this show is called CHEER BOYS!! so this is totally happening.
Nice Guy™ Mahiru is always ready to help someone in need. This comes back to bite him (pun intended) when he picks up a seemingly harmless stray cat, leading him into the world of servant vampires or SERVAMPS. Wait, don’t leave! It was actually kind of OK!
Regular high school dude keeps getting bitten and maybe murdered by a ghost girl every night for some reason? There are probably several parallel worlds and/or timelines that he’s in? Some fairies show up????? I have no idea what is going on.

The battle for Ragna begins as Delta squad and the rest of Chaos go on the offensive. With Windmere on the front and NUNS breathing down their neck, saving the people becomes the people becomes the top priority.
Using the power of the Wind Singer and their Protoculture ship, the Aerial Knights capture Al Shahal in mere minutes. Ragna is their final target, and Delta Squad must prepare their defense while dealing with NUNS interference.
Most every Roundup shows airs their penultimate episode with no sign of the end in site. Seriously, it’s completely business as usual and I have no idea how any of these shows are going to find a stopping point. At least Bakuon!! is weird again.
The crew says goodbye to Messer, but there is little time to grieve. The Aerial Knights are ready to play their trump card, setting the stage for an incredibly high stakes battle.
The Roundup is heating up as Luluco getts the cameo we we’ve been waiting for and Tanaka-kun carts out the “summer episode”. I suppose there were other shows too but hey, Inferno Cop!
The squad attends the Jellyfish Festival on Ragna, a traditional event for couples. Messer is re-assigned to a training position where he can be safe, but with another attack from the Aerial Knights his absence is immediately felt on the battlefield.
We’re about three quarters through the spring season and our Roundup shows prepare for their final stretch by… basically doing the same things they always do. I guess that’s what happens when you watch a lot of easy going comedies. But hey, at least we have Luluco to deliver our weekly dose of madness, right?
Mirage and Hayate learn more about Messer’s past and his current condition. They try to convince him that he could be danger to everyone on the battlefield, but they are interrupted by another attack from the Aerial Knights.
Bakuon! makes me talk about winter while it’s 90ºF outside, Luluco goes for the deepest of cuts for the season 3 finale, and Tanaka-kun is still the best show this season that no one is watching. Please watch it.
Freyja, Mirage, and Hayate are captured by the Aerial Knights while Messer and the rest of Walkure are still stuck behind enemy lines. Delta Squadron arrives to rescue them, but the group must fight their way out.
We’ve hit the midpoint of the spring season and the Roundup shows continue to coast along. Bakuon is back to being it’s amusingly weird self and Luluco continues to REDACTED FOR SPOILERS, meanwhile Tanaka-kun somehow manages to bring in a clingy imouto without making us totally drop it.
