Apathetic Isuzu Sento forces prime narcissist Seiya Kanie to take her to an amusement park, though it quickly turns out that Amagi Brilliant Park is long past its prime. After making him experience the park’s miserable state first hand, Isuzu and the park’s manager present Kanie an offer he cannot refuse.
Kaori moves back to a small town where she once lived, but since she’s been gone a massive saucer has appeared in the sky. A mysterious, strangely dressed girl appears in her room and claims to know her from years ago.
Angelise is a princess beloved by her people and next in line for the throne. Her kingdom thrives on a magic power that can only be negated by individuals known as the “Norma”, who are quarantined and treated as sub-human. On the day of her coronation, she discovers a secret that shatters her way of life. Also, there are robots shooting dragons.
Hoping to live a “normal” school life, Yuuji Kazami transfers to a school with only 5 other students, all of them female. They are all weird and probably have some kind of dark secrets. Other than that, I have no idea what is going on.
We say goodbye to the last stragglers of Summer as this season of the Roundup comes to an end. Glasslip leaves Marlin wanting, Aqua is pleasantly surprised by Barakamon, and I’m just sad I have no Sabagebu! header for the final post.
Chiyo re-evaulates her relationship with Nozaki after finding old Valentine’s Day chocolates she had planned on giving him. The Girls make plans to attend the school festival and sparks (OK, fireworks actually) fly when they run into the Guys.
The season is almost over and many of our Roundup shows are coming to an end. We say goodbye to favorites like Sabagebu! and HaNaYaMaTa, and a considerably less fond “see you later” to Aldnoah.Zero.
Jel saves his most profound words for this season’s biggest surprise.
This past Summer season was great for comedy anime, but as we move to Fall it’s time to get SERIOUS. Part 1 of our guide features two huge names with a brand new Gundam series and the revisiting of the massively popular Fate/Stay Night. The return of F/SN also marks the return of the visual novel adaptation, which seems to be making a comeback this season. Throw in a new series from Kyoto Animation that is as close to more Full Metal Panic as we’re ever going to get and there’s quite a bit to see. Take a look these sweet trailers, let us know what looks good to you, and be ready for more when we launch Part 2.
Nozaki wants to add some excitement to his manga so he tries to surprise Chiyo with a series of pranks for inspiration. The boys all crash at Nozaki’s place when a storm shuts down the trains, giving him the perfect material for a new slumber party scenario.
In this week’s installment… Our shows hold steady as the end of the season rapidly approaches. The comedies stay funny and sweet and Aqua still hates Aldnoah.Zero, so business as usual. The Roundup is a weekly guide to all the “other” shows we’re watching this season. Check out our full, weekly coverage of: Blue Spring Ride – Hunter…
I have often noted how proud we are of the wide variety of opinions we present here at The Glorio Blog. Witnessing the recent “#Gamergate” madness though has made me re-evaluate how our blog operates and some of the content we have posted. Considering we are just an amateur blog and video games are only…
Seo conveniently has a spare ticket to a movie and asks Waka to come along. When a Drama Club member is injured before rehearsal, Hori auditions his friends for a replacement. This does not go well.
Lifesong and Timmy are off cavorting at Nan Desu Kan but the rest of the crew picks up the slack. Argevollen gets practical, HaNaYaMaTa keeps its pants on for the hot springs episode, and Sabagebu continues its glorious streak of 80’s action movie references.
Chiyo and Nozaki get stuck at school after forgetting their umbrellas during a big rainstorm. Naturally, this inspires Nozaki to write a manga scene about it. The two meet up with Miyako and try to help her stand up to Maeno’s terrible editing demands.
Aldnoah.Zero drags our writers down from their usual disappointment to shame. Fortunately the rest of this season’s comedies hold strong, even with Barakamon taking the week off.
Kashima is upset because she thinks Hori is ignoring her when in reality he’s just exhausted from splitting time between the manga and the Drama Club. Nozaki’s crew brainstorms ideas to help lighten Hori’s background work while Kashima takes drastic action to make her Senpai notice her.
Lifesong begins his mid season cuts, Argvollen and Rail Wars surprise Gee and Timmy respectively, and I try to convince myself that this week’s Sabagebu! is scathing social commentary.
Kanbaru begins her senior year trying to find herself now that Araragi and Senjougahara have graduated. She investigates rumors surrounding a mysterious “Devil Lord” and encounters some faces from her past.
