This Week: Riddle Story of Devil The Devil’s Riddle continues to keep us delightfully perplexed, I finally get to geek out over Tonari no Seki-kun: The Master of Killing Time a.k.a the Best Show of the Season on a weekly basis, and Lifesong gets to flex his considerable anime-watching muscle on a host of other shows.

Cocoa is a young japanese girl moving into an idyllic German river town. Despite this being the opportunity for some fish out of water antics, as soon as she gets to her new home, everyone conveniently speaks Japanese and it transitions into a show about cute girls doing cute things in a cafe.

First Look: Marvel Disk Wars – The Avengers

Akira and his older brother are summoned to the United States by their dad, an employee of Tony Stark. He reveals that he and Stark have been working on DISKs, a new method of capturing and locking up super-villains. However, when Stark and the other Avengers present the DISKs to the public, Loki shows up and uses a set of DISKs to summon a bunch of super-villains to his aid.

Shintaro hasn’t left the house for two years, spending most of his time grieving a girl he used to know and being annoyed by Ene, a nosey AI living on his computer. One day, an unfortunate accident forces him to go out shopping and even worse, he ends up in a hostage situation. Luckily, with some help from Ene and a mysterious other boy, Shintaro finds the power to fight back.

First Look: If Her Flag Breaks

A boy with a curse can see flags above people heads. He uses his genre awareness to smash those flags so that they don’t get too close to him and draw a death flag. He is introduced to a girl with no flags and a girl with seemingly limitless flags.

Our story follows two siblings who are so good at gaming they have become an urban legend. They receive an invitation from the god of another world and unwittingly accept. They soon find themselves trapped in a world where everything is decided by playing games. Is this heaven or hell for our sibling pair? Will they even want to go home?

In the future, a parasitic virus that turns humans into monsters has wiped out the bulk of humanity. The survivors live in cities walled off by a metal effective against the monsters, also used to create bullets. Some girls are born with the virus and can utilize it for superpowers, making them humanity’s last hope to fight against their enemy.
