The beloved tokusatsu franchise took a side trip to a sword-and-sorcery-inspired Middle Ages for its animated début. Turned out 15th century Spain had just as many black-leather wearing brooding bad boys and salacious succubi as present-day Tokyo! With some help from Rage of Bahamut and Terror in Resonance animation wizards MAPPA and Kamen Rider alumnus Yasuko Kobayashi, however, The Carved Seal of Flames became a lot more than the sum of its parts. Bloody brothers Aqua and Gee bring the final verdict on this metal opera brought to life.

Amidst the turmoil, Deikun’s children, Casval and Artesia are thrown into the fray. A prologue to the the original Mobile Suit Gundam, The Origin follows the rise of Casval Deikun, the man who would eventually become Char Aznable, The Red Comet.

Masaomi’s feeling lonely because there’s nobody’s in the chatroom: Mikado’s too distracted by Aoba and his cronies, Anri is busy watching over Akane, and Izaya is in the thick of trying to frame Shizuo for murder. Again.

Shizuo brings Akane, a Yakuza’s granddaughter, to Shinra’s house, unbeknownst that Celty has been given orders to retrieve her. Meanwhile, Mikado continues being pushed around by every troll roaming the streets and we learn more about the blonde biker who ‘decapitated’ Celty.

When their leader makes himself known, the Toramaru biker gang stops chasing after Celty and shifts focus to the real reason for why they came to Ikebukero. Meanwhile, Masaomi warns Mikado of impending danger and Shizuo runs into a peculiar little girl.
