Alternative title(s): Minami Kamakura High School Girls Cycling Club
Manga Adaptation by J.C.Staff

Maiharu Hiromi is about to start at a new school, so she decides to cycle there even though she can’t remember how to ride a bike. She probably joins a bike club in the next episode.
Euri’s verdict: Please Purchase a Bike?
This show is the very definition of inoffensive fluff. The art is pretty, the characters seem likeable and they’re all about sport and school hijinks, but that’s all you’re getting. The problem is that the hook is, once again, ‘cute girls do cute things’, and there’s just too many shows out there that you’d be better off spending your time on. In fact, this does remind me of Bakuon!!, which seemed like the correct approach to shows like this. A little too much for me about midway through the series, but at least it wasn’t bland.
I also can’t help but feel this show has been tossed under the bus. Yowamushi Pedal is the bike anime that people seem to care about, and airing this alongside a show like that seems… bad. Perhaps it’s not a black and white comparison as you might prefer cute girls on bikes over cute boys on bikes, but the end segment that featured hot tips on what to look out for when purchasing your own bike seemed awfully like an attempt at differentiating the shows. Also, if your live-action segment doesn’t feature people cooking with marshmallows, what’s even the point?
Jel’s verdict: Like Riding a Bicycle
I was tempted to copy and past my first look at last seasons Long Riders! as this is essentially the same show, but I had already copied that review from Magic of Stella so I’ll try and come up with some new words. To this show’s credit, it seems a bit more inclined to take it’s time and enjoy the scenery. The actual background art looks great, but more specifically the characters themselves acknowledge it. Between that and the attempt at introducing a cool teacher handing out life advice, It kinds of reminds me of of Amanchu! if you replaced the shy main character who struggles with social anxiety with the biggest idiot savant this side of Yui from K-ON!. Seriously, she forgets how to ride a bicycle. I’m not sure if that was meant to be a joke or not.
The nice bits out of the way, the episode as a whole was dreadfully boring and sets up for yet another pleasantly dull girls club slice of life show. It’s even worse that they’re not even picking an obscure hobby we haven’t seen before, we just had a show about cute girls riding bicycles last season. I mean you can tell there’s a lack of content when the show can’t be bothered to give itself a proper title, or the fact that the last few minutes of the episode are devoted to a live action short featuring the voice actresses learning about bike frames. Unless you are really into bicycles, I can’t see why anyone would want to watch this.
