The stress of the wedding trials is starting to get to Ecarlate, so the group looks to blow off steam with a little karaoke. Icognito gets the same idea when they notice ED has been down about his recent failures.
The Neighbor’s Club debates participating in the school festival. Sena proposes a maid cafe while Yozora suggests fortune telling. This does not end well.
Haruka brings the ESP club back home for summer vacation. Not surprisingly, Grandpa goes a bit too far in preparing for their arrival.
An evil curse has fallen on the shopping district and the residents of Bunny Mountain scramble to protect Tamako at any cost.

Ecarlate continues through the first five wedding trials, making K0n’s life miserable. Icognito is working behind the scenes to sabotage them until ED makes make an important discovery.

Rika tries to get Yozora into Otome games with varying degrees of success. Later on she invents a “time machine” in an attempt to impress Kodaka.
Haruka has returned to school and Moritani decides to join the ESP club, prompting Yuriko to throw an all-night party for both events. Several days later the school participates in a sports festival and Haruka is conscripted into running a relay race.
It’s Summer and Mochizou is getting overwhelmed by his feelings for Tamako. With Dera’s help he tries to get closer to her on the school trip, but the situation gets complicated once Midori catches on to his plan.
Kon visits a Hyperion research facility to find more information about returning home, but this proves to be more dangerous than expected. After surviving his encounter, he rejoins the group as they help Ecarlate on her first of eighteen wedding trials.
Sena tries to lure Kobato with tickets to a theme park featuring a stage show based on her favorite anime. Yozora diffuses the situation by having the entire Neighbor’s Club make the trip.
With Haruka gone, Manabe is at a loss and reverts back to his former life. Yuriko will not stand for it however, and with Muroto’s help they go on a trip to find her.
It’s festival season at Bunny Mountain and the shopping district is as busy as ever. Anko isn’t nearly as enthusiastic about it as her big sister though, and would rather be off on a museum trip with her friends than help at the shop.
Every so often someone creates a masterpiece that can only exist in animated form – or more specifically, can only exist as anime. Putting infamous director Kunihiko Ikuhara back in the director’s chair and pairing him with critically acclaimed studio Brain’s Base was certainly enough to grab everyone’s attention, even before we knew a single detail about the series itself. The result of their union is something beautiful, strange, and not for everyone, but they very well may have achieved that goal.
The Ulga Sorority suspends Incognito for their failure to stop the princess but Variation refuses to wait and do nothing. While on the journey to Jugglabark, Kon, Sainglain and Marian contemplate Ecarlate’s decision and the end of their journey.
