With the season more than halfway over, it’s time to once again dig into our favorite songs from shows that have been airing for the past few months. While our Winter 2016 slate was impressively diverse, it seems the crew have pretty much converged on the best songs en masse this time round. Still, since it’s been a really good season for OPs and EDs that’s not exactly a problem.
Josuke and Koichi’s investigation leads them to a dangerous Stand-user at their own high school.
Koichi runs afoul of a con man using his Stand to extort money and favors.
Searching for the Bow and Arrow brings Josuke and Koichi to the residence of the delinquent Nijimura brothers, who have been using the artifact to create Stand-users for a mysterious purpose.
Notorious serial killer Angelo and his water-based Stand – Aqua Necklace – attack on a rainy day, trapping Josuke and Jotaro indoors.
In 1999, Jotaro Kujo arrives in a small Japanese town to meet the illegitimate son of Joseph Joestar: Josuke Higashikata, aka Jojo. Crazy posing and Stand battles ensue.
A little later than usual, but it’s time once again to check out the hot new shows for next season. Winter had the strongest batch of shows overall that we’ve seen in a long time, so Spring 2016 has some big shoes to fill. Part 1 of our guide gets us off to a good start with the return of Jojo and the adaptation of popular manga My Hero Academia. Macross Delta is also totally happening this time, I promise.
Lesser websites might wait until the end of the 2010’s to do their Best of the Decade retrospectives, but we don’t have that kind of patience. Instead, we thought it might be fun to do a midterm grade of sorts and choose our best shows from the past 5 years.
And so another GLORIO year comes to a close and we’ve reached the moment everyone has been waiting for: our picks the best shows of 2015.
Hello, and welcome to All Your Monies, where The Glorio Blog’s resident toy and figure collecting crew (and Aqua) will run down the last week’s new pre-orders, turning a loving or scathing eye over what’s been put out for you to spend your hard earned cash on. Nearly three years since the start of the new JoJo anime and over a year since the start of the world-famous Stardust Crusaders arc, things finally come to a close. What was it like finally seeing the entirety of JoJo’s best-known story in anime form? Read on to find out.
If you go about doing a season preview, it is only obvious you also close off on a season review. In The Wrap-Up, all of our contributors get to shine a spotlight on the show they thought to be the very best of the past few weeks, as well as reflect back on the preview to see which shows let us down the most. When you watch currently airing anime or tokusatsu, eventually the question will rise which of these shows can rank amongst the medium’s true classics. Regardless of who covered what, this is where we single out the cream of the crop, and decide which shows from the past season deserve to stand the test of time.
A hundred years later, it’s time to settle the Joestar family’s feud with Dio and his mysterious Stand: The World.
Vanilla Ice – Dio’s second-in-command and the user of the Stand Cream, able to erase space – attacks our heroes.
Terence T. D’Arby, younger brother of gambler Daniel J. D’Arby, challenges our heroes to a video game competition for their souls.
AND WE’RE BACK! Join Jel, Iro, and Marlin in the first episode of the official reboot of the official podcast of The Glorio Blog. We chat about the new season and what’s worth watching and what’s worth skipping. Listen now and find out which one of us can do the best YEEEAAARRTTT!!! (spoiler: we are all terrible).
Iggy separates from the group and stumbles upon Dio’s mansion, guarded by the falcon Pet Shop and his Stand of ice, Horus.
Recap BOINGO HOL HORSE COMBI
Searching for the location of Dio’s mansion, the crew must gamble their souls against the mysterious and dangerous Daniel J. D’arby.
