We’re only just over halfway through this season, but I guess some people just couldn’t keep in their praise for the pictured funky bunch, now couldn’t they? Without further ado, here are our favourite anime songs of the current season.
Joseph and Avdol are ambushed by the coquettish Mariah and her Stand of magnetism, Bast.
The smell of hot dogs, the noise of conversation and the occasional person dancing past in a shark costume. That’s right, it’s the half time show! The Glorio Rabble have put their heads together to let you know what’s worth your valuable time, in a world where first episodes are high budget and mid-season turns filler if left out in the sun too long. Want something cool to watch? Pick something from near the top, simple as that.
Polnareff is attacked and possessed by Anubis, a Stand without a Master.
OINGO BOINGO BROTHERS ADVENTURE
Aaaand we’re back! Iggy joins the party just as they’re attacked by N’doul and his Stand, Geb.
Spoilers: Chris finally gets something off his chest.
A bunch of Stand-users attack the crew, Avdol’s still alive, there’s a yellow submarine (ja-jan), and the show’s taking a break for the Fall 2014 season.
Recap As our heroes cross the desert, they’re attacked by The Sun Stand.
Recap Steely Dan and his Lovers Stand attacks our heroes, keeping Joseph as a hostage while he torments Jotaro.
Our heroes make a stop in a mysterious, foggy town, where Enyaba and her Justice Stand lie in wait.
It’s the end of yet another anime season, so amidst all the final impressions, we also try to choose our favourite anime theme songs of the season. This proved rather exceptionally hard this season, as not one, but two songs were picked by two different people. I had no idea we had such unanimous taste over here. Then again, maybe we just didn’t watch enough anime this season, and that should probably tell you something.
Blah blah blah our heroes are attacked by the Empress and the Wheel of Fortune.
Our heroes fight the Emperor and the Hanged Man in Calcutta, and Polnareff attempts to settle the score with the man who killed his sister.
Recap Once they’ve arrived in Singapore, the heroes are attacked by Ebony Devil and Yellow Temperance.
En route to Singapore by sea, our heroes are attacked by the Stands Dark Blue Moon and The Strength.
Jean Pierre Polnareff makes himself known to the group, and he battles Avdol with his Stand: Silver Chariot.
Our heroes take a plane to Cairo, but are attacked en route by a new Stand: Tower of Gray.
Jotaro is ambushed by the mind-controlled Kakyoin Noriaki and his Stand, Hierophant Green. After the battle, our heroes discover that Holly’s own Stand has turned against her, and the only way to stop it is to find and kill Dio.
The third arc of the all-time classic shonen series, following Jotaro Kujo and Joseph Joestar as they track down the Joestar family’s generational enemy, Dio Brando, with the new power of Stands!
