OP/ED Op-Eds: The Best of Spring 2015

‘Tis finally the season for annoying summer hits, so let’s all stay inside and reflect on the good old days before the calypso beats took over. Only it’s not the early 2000’s anymore and this is an anime blog, so the music isn’t going to be that much better. Especially since this season has been positively gasping for decent shows and decent songs to go with them, so don’t be surprised if you’re going to get a bit of déjà vu from this here feature. For what they’re worth, these are our favourite anime songs from the past season.

Leo hangs out with Black and the two bond over the love of their respective sisters. Zapp gets in trouble (allegedly) and the only way Klaus can save him is by fighting in a sweet underground cage fighting tournament.

Leo meets an odd mushroom man named Nej. His distaste towards human’s views on Beyondians leads him to befriend the strange burger lover. After getting put into the hospital again, he meets White’s brother, the King of Despair, but acting differently from before.

Leo gets kidnapped (again) by Aligura, the Queen of Monomania. Klaus knows exactly what she wants and enlists the help of the incredibly handsome (and even more incredibly named) Dog Hammer to stop her.

Blood Blockade Battlefront Episode 2-3

Leonardo is kidnapped by alien cannibals with illusory powers, leading to a sick chase sequence. Klaus prevents the end of humanity by betting his life on a game of Prosfair, an insane, mentally taxing version of Space Chess.

GLORIO Spring 2015 Anime Guide Part 2

Part 2 of our guide features Dogakobo and Kyoto Animation slugging it out to see who can be cuter, while a good portion of the Glorio Crew has their eyes on Blood Blockade Battlefront, which is somehow NOT created Ryougo Narita. Meanwhile Sanrio attempts to steal money from Otaku with the creepy Show by Rock!! and Rainy Cocoa gives me an excused to reference the end of the the first season of The World God Only Knows.
