Blast of Tempest Episode 8

The confrontation at the Tree of Exodus has begun. With the entire might of the Japanese Self Defense Force in their support, Mahiro and Yoshino go to confront the mages directly, running into Samon. Instead of actually fighting, we proceed to spend more than half the episode talking. Then talking. Then showing a guy talking to nobody. Then a plot twist, so I guess at least there’s that.

Blast of Tempest Episode 6

Junichiro is certain Hakaze is dead, even handling her skeleton, which has somehow been picked clean in a matter of months (trust me, this does not happen.) After some fanservice laden backstory for Junichiro, another fruit appears. To make matters worse, Yoshino gets kidnapped, making Mahiro give chase.

Blast of Tempest Episode 5

Recap: We get a bit more backstory exposition, which I am none too particularly fond of. Then we see a kickass whale skeleton… I mean run into another one of Samon’s lackeys. Hope you like random plot twist, cause that’s all that waits for you at the end!

K Episode 3: Game of Drones

Summary: Cool kid, Kuro and Neko conclude their collution, consequently the Black Canine comes back to his objective. Mikoto capitulates to Scepter 4 of his own accord, which causes controversy amongst his clansmen. The Cobalt King cautions Mikoto to keep his capacities in check, but declines to kill him. He consigns his colossally chested second-in-command to communicate their scheme to the cabinet.

Yoshino reveals the secret behind his magic to Mashiro just in time for him to get caught by Evangeline again. After she gets delt with, another mage enters the fray. Next episode, Yoshino fights the mage as Hakaze gives us a huge info dump. I suppose this stuff was good as world building but damn did it have to be so wordy?
