Blast of Tempest Episode 21

Yes, Aika is the Mage of Exodus. With this information out in the open Hakaze tells all. Despite the brandished swords of the end of last episode, Aika takes it all a little too well, deciding the only way to make things work is to create her death herself. Unable to let such a tragedy occur, Hakaze attempts to kill Aika herself in a mix of rage and sorrow.

Robotics;Notes Episode 19

Misa escapes and goes on a rampage in the Expo, destroying every robot and incapacitating her own for ostensibly no reason. Thing is, that was apparently an EM generated hallucination…. yeah this show is really startin’ to go away from any sense of suspension of disbelief.

Hakaze confronts Yoshino on the emotionless nature that he handled Aika’s death. As Hanamura explains his reasoning for Yoshino being the mysterious boyfriend, Mahiro simply refuses to believe it. In the end, Yoshino’s suffering causes Hakaze to do something drastic.

Airi’s true nature is revealed, and honestly it’s kinda stupid. After my disappointment mounts, R;N manages to snag me back in. GUN-BUILD2 is complete as Kai searches for the final report. In the shadows, Aki’s sister and her boss are plotting something. Much like Okabe and his lab, will the unintended consequences of messing with conspiracy finally fall Kai and the gang?

Recap: With the new rules in place, both Mizusawa and Hokuo are guaranteed to get into the championship tournament. However, Chihaya isn’t satisfied with just that. With Hokuo’s only decent person Retro in agreement, the matches end up completely even. Can Mizusawa win against an equal match?

2010 gave us quite a few memorable shows From the exciting Durarara!! to the irreverent Panty & Stocking to the artsy flair of The Tatami Galaxy, there was plenty to love. Still, even beyond those titles, nothing stood out to me more than the mix of supreme absurdity and quiet insight that was Arakawa Under the Bridge.
