Recap: The new freshman are still giving problems to the team. Sumire’s infatuation is curbing her attention, and the unknown male from last episode Tsukuba has a bit of an attitude problem. Will Sumire be able to see why Taichi and the gang love karuta the way they do?
Recap: After waking up, Mahiro finds that Yoshino and Hakaze have gone off on their own. Yoshino’s influence on her worries Samon, to the point that he wants him dead. While rumors of a Mage of Exodus get spun around, the couple happen to find a young man with the powers of the chaotic tree.
After fainting, the heroine tries to go back to her normal life in order to piece together the fragments of her memories. Thankfully, the entire cafe is going on a trip that’s sure to help bring her closer to those she’s made them with. However, there might be some memories best left not knowing.
With the new semester in full bloom, Chihaya and the gang are on a membership drive. Unfortunately, all the new recruits seem to have eyes for is Taichi, most especially the recently heartbroken Sumire. Will they be able to find the kind of people that love karuta the way they do?

Generic Otome protagonist has woken up with no memories of the past and fawned over by unknown bishounen, making her a perfect self-insert to any interested parties. This is apparently due to some fairy bumping into her soul and trapping him in it… yeah I don’t understand that part either.

When we learned that the final arc of Kokoro Connect was going to be cordoned off to be released at a later time, it left a sour taste in the mouths of us loyal fans here at the Glorio Blog. Poised to be one of our favorite shows of the year, the lack of conclusion made us have to reevaluate it at the breaking point, and ultimately label it incomplete and unsatisfying. With Yamaken coming into his feelings and Shizuku feeling betrayed, the pair seem to grow apart again. Haru’s past is explored, and while it explains his irrational fears, it does not absolve him of his petulant behavior.
Yoshino tries to talk down Mahiro from joining Samon and explaining the paradox. Meanwhile, the Army prepares for its final assault as Evangeline keeps Natsumura busy.
Haru being Haru, the threat of Yamaken instills fear in losing Shizuku instead of the confidence to ensure she remains by his side. Just as Shizuku is about to open up to him again, Haru’s jealousy tries to override her free will, only serving to driver her away once again.
Given the chance of a lifetime, Akiho turns down JAXA support to stay true to the GUNBUILD-1 project. Meanwhile, our protagonist starts actually being altruistic, helping out Aika while trying to find more files on the coverup. Unfortunately, this only makes his actions towards others seem even more dickish in comparison.
Recap: With the new revelation, Mahiro is quick to jump allegiances, his only trust in whoever can find Aika’s Killer.
