All Your Monies: December 14th 2016

Hello, and welcome to All Your Monies, where The Glorio Blog’s resident toy and figure collecting crew (and Iro) will run down the last week’s new pre-orders, turning a loving or scathing all-seeing eye over what’s been put out for you to spend your hard-earned cash on. This week there are lovely ladies and handsome men, but also a disappointing absence of half-tucks.

All Your Monies: November 30th 2016

Hello, and welcome to All Your Monies, where The Glorio Blog’s resident toy and figure collecting crew (and Iro) will run down the last week’s new pre-orders, turning a loving or scathing all-seeing eye over what’s been put out for you to spend your hard-earned cash on. This week the crew is once again assaulted by illness but not even that can keep them from their sacred duty of disapprovingly frowning at skeevy figures.

The Roundup: Fall 2016 Volume 7

No March Comes In Like a Lion this week makes me sad and Yuri doesn’t deliver anything quite as historic as last week, but the Roundup is still as strong as ever. Now go watch Girlish Number and then call your parents, they’re probably worried about you.

All Your Monies: November 16th 2016

Hello, and welcome to All Your Monies, where The Glorio Blog’s resident toy and figure collecting crew (and Iro) will run down the last week’s new pre-orders, turning a loving or scathing all-seeing eye over what’s been put out for you to spend your hard-earned cash on. This week the crew are still battling illness but nothing can stop the march of plastic waifus, giant robots and Expressionist icons of despair.

The Roundup: Fall 2016 Volume 5

It’s been a rough week, and in these difficult times writing about cartoons feels more frivolous than usual. Perhaps more than ever though, I’m personally enjoying the comfort and brief escapism of some good anime. So take a minute to relax and forget about all the horrible things going on in the world for just a moment. I’ll be happy if we can at least offer that much.

The Roundup: Fall 2016 Volume 4

Here at the Glorio Blog we always strive to deliver QUALITY anime coverage, regardless of our production schedule. It helps when there’s a lot of good shows to talk about of course, and I’m probably going to sound like a broken record here but wow this season is good. Yuri and March deliver as always, Girlish Number and ClassicaLoid are turning out pretty good, and somehow Aqua is still watching (and enjoying?) Kiss Him, Not Me.

All Your Monies: November 2nd 2016

Hello, and welcome to All Your Monies, where The Glorio Blog’s resident toy and figure collecting crew (and Iro) will run down the last week’s new pre-orders, turning a loving or scathing all-seeing eye over what’s been put out for you to spend your hard-earned cash on. This week, we’re back after a medical emergency forced a last minute cancellation last week. Luckily that’s produced a pretty awesome lineup.

The Roundup: Fall 2016 Volume 3

The Roundup keeps on truckin’ with our usual batch of animes. Artemis is back but a few shows find themselves flirting with the chopping block, if not being cut altogether. You’ll have to read on to find out more, but I’ll tell you now I would probably never cut a show in which someone can say “Beethoven-senpai” unironically.

Lost and Found Volume 5: Make Anime Great Again

Welcome to the Lost and Found, our convoluted question and answer segment where we tackle the most pressing issues from our recent search terms. Whether it’s a perfectly innocent inquiry about your favorite anime or a search that makes us question the depths of human depravity, we are here for you. In this edition, Jel is up for re-election as Supreme Emperor of Glorio and even though he is expected to win with 99.9% of the vote, he has graciously agreed to take questions from the common people.

All Your Monies: October 19th 2016

Hello, and welcome to All Your Monies, where The Glorio Blog’s resident toy and figure collecting crew (and Iro) will run down the last week’s new pre-orders, turning a loving or scathing all-seeing eye over what’s been put out for you to spend your hard-earned cash on. This week, after a few weeks off for ANIMEPOCALYPSE we return with a truly stacked edition.

The Roundup: Fall 2016 Volume 1

What’s this, anime is good again?!? This week we launch a rock solid lineup for the Fall 2016 Roundup with a couple of other shows joining us next week. Personally I’m already declaring Yuri!! On ICE and March Comes In Like a Lion as anime of the year contenders, we also have delightfully fun shows like ClassicaLoid, Time Bokan 24, and Poco’s Udon World, and for some reason Aqua is still watching Kiss Him, Not Me and Izetta: The Last Witch.

The Wrap-Up: Summer 2016

If you go about doing a season preview, it is only obvious you also close off on a season review. In The Wrap-Up, all of our contributors get to shine a spotlight on the show they thought to be the very best of the past few weeks, as well as reflect back on the preview to see which shows let us down the most. When you watch currently airing anime or tokusatsu, eventually the question will rise which of these shows can rank amongst the medium’s true classics. Regardless of who covered what, this is where we single out the cream of the crop, and decide which shows from the past season deserve to stand the test of time.

All Your Monies: September 28th 2016

Hello, and welcome to All Your Monies, where The Glorio Blog’s resident toy and figure collecting crew (and Iro) will run down the last week’s new pre-orders, turning a loving or scathing all-seeing eye over what’s been put out for you to spend your hard-earned cash on. This week, the Nendoroids are here to take over.

The GLORIO Fall 2016 Anime Guide – Part 3

We’ve saved the best for last as the third part of our guide seems to have the most interesting looking shows. I’ve got my eye on wacky musical comedy Classicaloid as it seems to fit my personal tastes rather well, but other shows to watch like new Shaft joint March Comes in Like a Lion and MAPPA’s latest, Yuri!!! On ICE, top off a list that seems to have a lot less duds than the previous two.
