With only a few episode remaining, shows like Sweetness and Lightning and Amanchu scramble to meet their mandatory anime episode quotas, tackling the cultural festival and beach episodes respectively. Fortunately both shows remain just too sweet to be dragged down by anime clichés, and we get yet another week of solid Roundup viewing.
Hello, and welcome to All Your Monies, where The Glorio Blog’s resident toy and figure collecting crew (and Iro) will run down the last week’s new pre-orders, turning a loving or scathing all-seeing eye over what’s been put out for you to spend your hard-earned cash on. This week, true horror awaits us all.
With Riko off competing in the piano contest, the other Aqours girls nominate You to take her place at the prefectural Love Live preliminaries. Unfortunately, rehearsing the new choreography doesn’t go as smoothly as things usually go for her, causing You to worry if her closest friend just sees her Riko’s sloppy replacement.
Aspiring manga artist Kurasawa Kanae has noticed her husband becoming increasingly distant, and soon discovers that he’s cheating on her. Furious, she starts to look into options for a divorce, but quickly realises she doesn’t have the money to pay for an attorney. The stress causes her manga to suffer, and all hope seems lost until a chance meeting with Hakamada Yukio, a divorce lawyer who claims Kurosawa can win millions from her husband, and with no up-front fees.
I probably need an insulin shot after watching anime this week as nearly every show was super sweet and endearing – even my dumb Art Club show. At least 91 Days is back with more murder to make sure my cold, dead heart doesn’t thaw out too much.
Delta squad has arrived on Windermere but is split into three groups during the battle. Hayate, Mirage, and most of Walkure are taken captive by the Aerial Knights, and Hayate is forced to confront the truth about his father.
Dia wants to spend summer vacation training on the beach like µ’s did, but Chika and You have to help out at Chika’s family’s beach cafe. Meanwhile, Riko has to deal with conflicting schedules when she receives an offer to take part in a piano competition.
With 91 Days taking a week off and Orange feeling like filler, we’re left with nothing but sunshine and rainbows with the rest of the perpetually pleasant Roundup shows. Sweetness and Lightness does give us a few gut punches while playing the Mom Card, but stick around for Iro’s important PSA on cutting food.
With the season more than halfway over, it’s time to once again dig into our favorite songs from shows that have been airing for the past few months. Said lineup includes an anime by Yuzuru Tachikawa, the new prodigy of opening sequences, so expect the Mob Psycho 100 to show up a lot on this list. Otherwise, there are still cooking classes, fighting dreamers, and the smoldering depths of hell. Don’t bother counting to 99, and dive right in!
Tensions between Kanan and Mari reach a boiling point, prompting Chika to step in and demand the former friends finally reveal what caused the rift between them.

This week we’ve got knights, goggleheads, artists, post apocalyptic survivors and a dog designed by a man who can’t draw dogs.
Mirage convinces Arad to let Freyja and Hayate join the offensive on Windermere. While Walkure attempts to open a gate to the planet, Mirage and Hayate are intercepted by a squad of knights led by Cassim.
Yukako – wishing to repair her relationship with Koichi – goes to a fancy, totally-not-a-Stand-user’s salon.
Freyja and Hayate are grounded for testing after Hayate’s Var-like symptoms in the last battle. Mikumo’s status continues to be unknown, leading to a botched rescue mission by the rest of Walkure. While being detained, Kaname and the other girls recall the difficult early days of the group.
Gacha! is your fortnightly (or thereabouts) look at the weird world of Japanese capsule toys. In this instalment, we pretend it wasn’t half a year ago that we last did this.
I’ve been giving a lot of love to the cute and sweet shows that dominate this season’s Roundup so let me shout 91 Days this week. It got real dark this episode but not in the excessively juvenile way you might expect. Of course those others shows are still adorable and you should watch those too.
Josuke and Okuyasu meet Shigechi, a local Stand-user, and together they concoct a get-rich-quick scheme.

This week we’re offering waifus both new, old and rubber suited.
After their debut performance is met with a less than lukewarm response, Chika and co. get sent back home with their tails between their legs. How could the power of doing one’s best possibly have failed?
