In his annual musing, Zigg talks about how he was surprised (in both good and bad ways) by many of the shows which came out this year.

On a fateful day in July 2012, we created our first post. Shoujo Hitler was bad, but much worse was our first impressions of the anime adaptation of Kingdom that went up shortly thereafter. It’s five years later and anime is still bad, but somehow someway we are still here, carrying out our solemn duty to warn…
If you go about doing a season preview, it is only obvious you also close off on a season review. In The Wrap-Up, all of our contributors get to shine a spotlight on the show they thought to be the very best of the past few weeks, as well as reflect back on the preview to see which…
In which both Marlin and Jel conclude by saying “burn it with fire”.
Sometimes a show comes along that just deserves to be eviscerated. Perhaps it showcases the worst of anime’s stereotypes. Perhaps it takes an interesting premise and ruins it with befuddling plots or infuriating character arcs. Perhaps you think a show should literally be labelled a war crime by the Geneva Convention. That’s where the HATEWATCH…

This show is called Eromanga-Sensei, in case you forgot for some reason this episode is here to remind you. Yes, if you like this you are a bad person.
This episode is literally called Buck Naked Mansion people. BUCK. NAKED. MANSION. This stuff writes itself.

Masamune Izumi is a hard working, modestly successful light novel author and all around nice guy high school student. He has never met his illustrator, the popular “Eromanga Sensei” who, you guessed it, is known for making erotic drawings. Through a series of coincidences he discovers Eromanga Sensei’s true identity – his cute step sister who never leaves her room!
Goodbye.
Part 3 features the new series by Oreimo’s Tsukasa Fushimi, Eromanga Sensei, and so by default is the worst part of the preview guide. Fortunately it also features the return The Eccentric Family, which I must admit has been sitting at the top of my backlog for quite some time. There’s also an unusually high amount shows coming back this season that we we wouldn’t normally cover, so let us know if we are missing out on anything good.
Hello, and welcome to All Your Monies, where The Glorio Blog’s resident toy and figure collecting crew (and Iro) will run down the last week’s new pre-orders, turning a loving or scathing eye over what’s been put out for you to spend your hard-earned cash on. This week we get a glimpse into our dark, dark future
