Macross Delta Episode 7

Walkure and Delta Squadron go undercover on a nearby planet recently occupied by Windmere. They learn more infomation about the Vars outbreaks, but Freyja, Hayate, and Mirage get separated from the group.

The Roundup: Spring 2016 Volume 5

The Roundup has finally stabilized with the remaining shows delivering a bit of a mixed bag this week. Joker Game and Tanaka-kun are going strong but Bakuon!! continues to slump and Three Leaves, Three Colors nearly put me to sleep. Most importantly though, Luluco reminds us not to LOSE OUR WAAAAAAAY.

My Hero Academia Episodes 5 & 6

Deku has finally made it to UA but he and his class face a tough breaking in as they’re first assigned legendary hard-ass Shota Aizawa as their homeroom teacher, then have to battle each other under All Might’s direction.

Macross Delta Episode 6

Freyja and Hayate bristle under their respective authorities as they continue their training. Not even Mirage escapes criticism as she has to deal with expectations of her lineage. They must put that aside as Delta Squadron heads into battle, and with lives on the line they need to be sure they know what they’re fighting for.

Artemis is out this week so I’m doing my best to hold down The Roundup on my own. So sit back, relax, and enjoy our weekly wave of feel good comedies, with a side of me ranting about Twin Star Exorcists for possibly the last time.

Macross Delta Episode 5

With Windmere’s declaration of war, Delta’s contract has changed to include helping defend Ragna, essentially declaring war themselves. All eyes are on Freyja as she decides if she will turn against her planet, even as some accuse her of being a spy. Hayate must also decide if he wants to continue to fight now that real combat is on the horizon.

We’re dropping shows all over the place and I’m still mad at Twin Star Exorcists, but The Roundup carries on. I have accepted Bakuon!! as our lord and savior, Luluco and Joker game are doing there thing, and Tanaka-kun and Three Leaves, Three Colors (we need a good short name for that) just make you feel good.

Twin Star Exorcists Episode 4

Ryougo and the Seita dorm crew head out for a routine exorcism, but it turns out to be more than they can handle. Rokuro is left with no choice but to ask Benio for help and the two set out to save him.

Macross Delta Episode 4

Walkure performs a pre-emptive concert to prevent a Vars outbreak. Things are going well enough for Freyja and Hayate in their performance debut, but it’s only a matter of time before the spectacle draws the attention of their mysterious enemy.

Another round of cuts and me raging about Twin Star Exorcists earlier in the week will have The Roundup looking a bit thinner, but fortunately the return of Sakamoto and a solid performance from the rest of the line up keep things positive.

Twin Star Exorcists Episode 3

Benio begins attending school with Rokuro and causes a stir among his classmates. While his buddies go off to investigate a large impurity, Rokuro decides to hang out at an amusement park with his long time friend Mayura.

Macross Delta Episode 3

Freyja and Hayate begin their training regimes but are struggling to deal with their new structured environment. Mirage is charged with Hayate’s training and is incredibly frustrated by his lack of respect, leading her to challenge him to a dog fight as his final exam.
